Today's Card Review is on Flygon Lv. X from the Rising Rivals series. Flygon has 140 HP, a x2 weakness to Colorless Pokemon, a -20 resistance to Electric-types, and no retreat cost. Flygon Lv. X has one Poke-Body, and one attack.
Flygon's Poke-Body is called "Wind Erosion," what this allows you to do is, EVERY turn, you get to discard the top card from your opponent's deck! As long as Flygon is your active Pokemon, of course.
For 3 Colorless Energies, its attack is called Extreme Attack. This attack is fantastic for getting rid of Lv. X's. It says select one of your opponent's Lv. X, and the attack does 150 damage to it. Most Lv. X's (Flygon included) don't even have 150 HP!
For strategy, I would pair this up with the Secret Wonders Flygon, who's Poke-Body allows you, as long as it is your active Pokemon, to put one damage counter on all of your opponent's Pokemon every turn, excluding Fighting Types. Since Lv. X's can still use Poke-Bodies and Poke-Powers from their non-level-up stage, this means, every turn, you can discard the top card from your opponent's deck, and put one damage counter on each of their Pokemon!
